i'm not the ref
read something interesting today, which has implications to some stuff i've mulled over.
Are you becoming arrogant in your attitude toward others who use different methods than you do? If so, please repent of your arrogance and seek to listen for God’s will for your life. Your job is not to stand on the sidelines and referee, your job is to be involved in the action. Quit complaining and start serving. The world needs to see Jesus through you.

would he have known?
would he? that he'd but a whiff of life left to live? probably not. living life to its fullest, desiring more than there was, obedient to the call to maturity. sigh it feels so long ago, yet, not that long ago at all. thanks for the memories, and more significantly, the man you were behind all those memories. as i teeter on the brink of graduation and mull over thoughts long overdue, surely your life of ultimate sacrifice must count for something in my considerations. my life is so insignificant yet significant all at once. out of all the paths i could go down, which one would be best? not my version of best, but best best? for the best is for the best, and the best is for the worst, and who could say otherwise?

"Remember that it is not hasty reading, but serious meditation on holy and heavenly truths, that makes them prove sweet and profitable to the soul. It is not the mere touching of the flower by the bee that gathers honey, but her abiding for a time on the flower that draws out the sweet. It is not he that reads most, but he that meditates most, that will prove to be the choicest, sweetest, wisest and strongest Christian." (Thomas Brooks)
