arrival of the pointless end
yay what euphoria! mameee, it's over! yep wednesday more or less closed a chapter of my life. the paper was ok, thank God. i managed to finish it in good time except for some qns i wasn't sure abt. perhaps that's my first decent paper, and my last, so oh well that's just really too bad it's over and done with, no use fretting over it.
went to the class on Hebrews with me mum thurs night, really quite enlightening, daniel and jimmy! were there too so it was good to be in the company of friends = )
and now i got a few things to do, like sign up for driving, find a way to talk to my dad about funding my first attempt at building a com, before PROCEEDING to build it properly, start getting fit enough to kick butt in the army, and..... uh yeah back to the com building again. really bored man w/o the com, my crummy laptop cant do much except go online and surf the net. after doin the utopia stuff there's not much else left. even gunbound cant run on my laptop. apparently my lap's graphics doesnt even have 8mb video memory!! oh and i can't even surf the net with IE. when there are popups there will regularly be some C++ program termination error or something like that which closes all my IE windows. so i surf with Opera instead, no problems, and doesn't lag to kingdom come when i open it. i just hope JK can somehow clone our doomed hard disk contents over to a new hdd and save the songs and movies i took so long to collect!
such is the dismal state of after-exam euphoria ehh ? haha but well played a considerable amt of cs at mechmaster these 2 days with joseph, quite fun la =P
anyway i should not forget the Save-Your-Friends program. I'll try my best to sleep early and wake up early and make more use of my days than i ever have. That will make life a lil more meaningful will it not ? ;) there's always books to read to while away the time as well, and swimming, and soccer. yay not so boring after all hmmm

wARRRRRRRRRRRGhhhh!
instead of analysing different wireless technologies and how they match up against each other, i'm analysing what i'm prolly gonna be doing in 12-24 hrs time. this is killin me! happens every time argh, so near yet so far. the end is almost here. i can reach out and -almost- grab at it, but no.... not yet. pretty much sums up my intense concentration capabilities don't it.. haha.
if this keeps up, only thing i'll be analysing tmr is how the heck things went awry at the end. c'mon!! FOCUS ya pansy! :o)

the final push to the sum
it's 11. the clock ticks, and it doesn't stop. in 12 hours it'll all be over. can i believe it? hardly. euphoric. definitely. it's the easiest of the lot in terms of content, but really that just adds to the uncertainty. don't think the lec notes suffice for this one, and there's no textbook to read either, so here i am, online and blogging instead of searching for answers to lectures i didn't attend.
i pray for a quick, decisive, and swift end to the torture of these papers.
and as if in mockery, my com hard disk decided to die on me, 2 days before my exams end. :(( blessing or curse will be seen soon. hopefully i get funding for a new super computer to tide me over my NS days to come ! = ) my gripe is that i nv got the chance to build a computer from scratch; there's a certain satisfaction in building your own com, and knowing that the whole thing is your creation(and of course seeing it work smooth w/o a hitch). but on the other hand i'm afraid something goes wrong, i buy conflicting parts or or or or install wrong things or or or the slot's wrong or or Murphy's Law slaps me smack in the face and i end up wasting money. that's the last thing i want, to waste money. owell, we'll see. but for now, i will hafta live with this dampener of an end. spoiler seh .... :( exams end also cannot enjoy.
maybe it's time for the sun, sand and sea! : ) and plenty of soccer!
