oh what to put in a title?
today was a sleeeepy day. late nights don't go down well with me (or most people for that matter). i need to sleeeep earlier. i need to run, and like, chase UQ for a reply, and like, read through all the camp comm. materials, and sort thru and organise the media on my com. and like, get better at bass. i was watching the video gerald sent to the worship team, it was great. i proceeded to explore a few more vids on youtube, and eventually settled to repeat a few times the adrenaline-pumpin "Take It All", "Tell The World", and "What The World Will Never Take" by Hillsong United, or was it United Live, or a combination of those words. they have so many different sub-teams i don't know which is which. i guess it's just Hillsong.
weekend practically flew past without even a hello but it was fruitful. did the recce at sarimbun, walking around in restricted army training grounds (which used to be our nightwalk trail nong nong ago), before finding out that that land is now officially the army's, and nobody is to tresspass there, least of all for nightwalks or silly games. so .. booo :( we came back to church after that for meeting, and spent like ... the whole afternoon brainstorming the skit. for all that effort i was rather sad that i was playing gay =((( notttttt good. we finished up and went for dinner, the laksa at holland v! good stuff. james and ailing and sophie met us at swenson's. they had dinner/desert and we had an earthquake ta boot. it was great catching up a bit with em, and glad that james' business is picking up a lil and he's busy with projects! we had a "lololx! hEeX" spankin good time. the end of the night, james footed our earthquake for us, that was daymn sweet, for a young couple just startin out, and starting out in business on your own at that, you don't have too much cash flow goin round, but james mentioned he got a deal only the day before (i think) so he did it. thanks both of you :)
sunday i played my 3rd time for worship and it went relatively well' i struggled with the three key change song, but the rest was fine, just tired hand after. need to practise more man, when brian is back i'll leech some tips off him muahhaha. after that, i went down together with the camp commies to All Saints Church at ... *gasp* Tanah Merah. it's actually at Anglican High, but that's like eons away from ... civilisation. it was a joy to be there to bless their small group (like really small). i wonder how we would feel if our congregation were that small. it's really a community of believers there man, i didn't count more than 30 people in their youth group, sorta like a big cell group. whatever little i heard of pastor steven's message, i realised he IS the right man to lead their youth group and God has really anointed and placed him there to bring them up in the way of the Lord. after that, he introduced us and we did the Maple Story skit for them! haha i had a ball of a time presenting the skit with the rest. after that we mingled and psycho'ed, er i mean coaxed them to sign up. in the end we got about 8 i guess. hope God will move more of em to sign up! had to rush back to church after that, dropped the girls off at dover and church, picked up mum, and headed straight to marina square. we shopped and window shopped and ate and ... shopped until nightfall. then we ate again (i had delicious viet kway teow! power la the wok mei) at asian kitchen, before driving to the airport to pick dad up from budget terminal. long long long weekend, but fruitful!
Thank you God, but uhm, gimme a kick in the bum to be fruitful during the week. i need to do the abovementioned stuff tonight hmm hmmm... going to run now. 10km FTW! SEeya nubs, and keep on pwnin' =P
