wooty fruity.
as usual when u don't update regularly MANY things happen and it's been great meeting sooooooooooooo many old friends. let's see, there was my fairfield primary school classmates, and did we have a helluva time catching up and recounting old times in the terror days of mrs camilo heng. and it's interesting, we've all gone our different ways, done different things, but yeah we're pretty much still the same people. it was stupid, because i'm so free this period, and out of nowhere last sat there was ailing's wedding to attend, which is fine, then -two- class reunions to go to, -at the same time-. which means i had to give one up. poly reunion at chompchomp or fmps at marche. sigh, i haven't seen the fmps dudes in so long, so i guess that was it for me. also what helped me decide was the fact i met hannah at bbdc the day before!! and that's the exact day she passed! like woah, ok so like confirmation fmps coming in the 89th minute.
and i tell ya, bukit batok driving centre has a lot to do with all these people. hmm met terence from FMPS there, hannah also. and haran and fuwen from vs !! all used ta be from my class, so really funny. your paths go all over the place, but when it's that time of your life, it's that time of your life. so we converge on this common place called bbdc to learn driving, at the ripe young age of 20. in a way we're back in the same school after all these years.
and lately i've been kinda worried bout "what happens after ns!?" so i did some homework on NUS and NTU and so it seems the dates for applying have closed ...... and there's a REAL limited range of courses i can apply for with not much real chance of getting in. i mean like, my friend is a silver medallist in studies, which means top 5% in business IT in ngee ann, and what does he get? his 4th choice for course. not exactly encouraging. i think maybe i will hafta go overseas after all, then there's the thing about ... "er how will my parents put me thru uni? kinda tight ...". well i guess it's time to talk to God about it and see what He thinks. i also don't find courses like business or accounting or computer science or economics very appealing. hmm dunno what i'm gonna do for now.
-anyway-, i'm done with my pracs :) yep, finished all 5 stages, first lesson was 29/6, last one 13/7. all in all 19 lessons in 15 days, not too shabby. BUT due to bad bad planning the earliest date i can take ma final theory is 22nd! this thurs! wait 2 weeks for results, *yay*, then login and check earliest date for TP test, another 2-3 weeks. *crap* so i'm twiddling my thumbs and ... w a i t i n g. hope i don't forget how to drive :D

bahahahaha
oh man this place is like dead thanks to me. so much has been happening. i've just passed stage 1 of driving, quite happy with my progress. july is gonna be a crucial month of being on the road. one shot, one chance, before army swallows me. God-willing, i'll be a driver before entering the army :) driving really is quite fun, except the blind spot and mirror checking part :( every single thing u do, MIRRORS MIRRORS. some things don't even make sense, BUT to pass u gotta do the big show so ..... gonna work on that in lessons!
annnnnnnnnnd i'm off to church to watch greece kick portugal's butt, hopefully there'll be a decent turnout, and i love pastor ian's spontaneity. truly a heart for God, pouncing on every opportunity to meet people, to be a WITNESS. sometimes i wonder how many things he's onto at one time. must be quite draining, but thankfully we know who's doing the refueling :P
i think i should start on the 40 day fast thing, guilt trips do no good at all. action speaks a lil louder.
